The Story of Lampung Coffee
Coffee has been grown in Lampung, Indonesia since 1841. When Arabica and Liberica were hit by disease in the early 1900s, farmers shifted to Robusta, which thrived in Lampung’s fertile volcanic soil and tropical climate. Today, Lampung is recognized worldwide for its strong, full-bodied Robusta coffee.
